Actually, you will see that as your cache handles more traffic, the hit rate
increases.
We handle 400,000 requests per 24-hour period (totalling over 2 gigabytes)
and we have a hit rate of 55%, 34% by bandwidth. (a mere 280 modems... but
2300 customers active)
