I think the problem is that if doing a POST request, squid still thinks that
the server link is inactive.

Perhaps pumpServerCopy() in pump.c should contain the line:

        commSetTimeout(p->s_fd, Config.Timeout.read, pumpTimeout, p);

at the end?
