better use of cache-partition

hi all,

my cache is now running for one month and it's using its 6.5 GB
cache-dir only for about
30 percent. Which configuration of squid.conf do You suggest, for a
better use of my
disk-space. My HIT/MISS ratio is about 40/60. Is this good or bad ?

Sorry if these questions are off-topic but I did not found postings
about these topics in
the archive.
