Squid2.2 Documentation

Hello:

I am a new user to Squid and after playing with Squid2,
I plan to install the latest Squid2.2.stable2 on a RedHat5.2 system.

I noticed quite a few configure and Makefile options have changed/added.
However, most of the documentation relates to Squid1.1.something or dates back to 1997.

How can I(a newbie) get a fairly current/useful documentation?
