Direct my Squidbox to a proxy

Hi!

How do I write the syntax in squid.conf to direct it to another
(non-caching) proxy when it should get pages from the internet?

Could someone give me a hint? Is it like this:

acl local-external dstdomain proxy.mydomain.net
always_direct deny local-external
never_direct allow all

further down I've written like this.

cache_peer proxy.mydomain.net parent 80 7 default

But it doesn't seem to work. And I still want it to cache since the
proxy (proxy.mydomain.se) isn't a caching one.
