        All you need to know to implement POST in a true proxy is
        in the HTTP protocol specification (see http://www.w3.org for
        details. You should not be attempting to write a proxy without
        having read the current HTTP/1.1 draft and the specifications for
        the versions of HTTP you intend to support.

        NB current usage tends to be to use HTTP/1.0 with some
        HTTP/1.1 features.
