On reflection, there's what I use myself: Set up an autoproxy script
that returns the appropriate settings depending on where you're plugged
in. Since I have two proxy farms (one at home and one at work) I give
out one group of proxy addresses or the other. In your case, I imagine
you'd give out 'DIRECT' in one case.
