"Segment Violation" reported by Squid

Squid keeps giving me a "Segment Violation" after
running for a while [ anything between 1 and 10 hours,
but getting more frequent ].

I have tried 2 versions of squid (the latest stable and
release), with and without debug options.

I have tried replacing the CPU, Motherboard, Memory.

I have wiped the partitions.

I have 2 x 17 gig IDE drives, 1 x 10 gig IDE drive, 1 x 8 gig
IDE drive, 1 x 2 gig SCSI drive in the machine. The machine
is an AMD K2-300 with 640 Megs of memory in it, running Linux 2.2.10.

Any help, pointers, similar experience would be appreciated.

Thanks,
David
