My first question so be gentle :-)

I've been running SQUID 2.2STABLE4 for a bit now and I am having some
problems with it's caching of objects (I think). What is happening is if I
go to www.computronix.com <http://www.computronix.com> I sometimes get hang
up on one or two gifs (can be different ones at different times) where I end
up waiting for a long time before I get them. I happen to know that in each
case the gifs are very small. I don't have any problems with this site if I
go directly as I have confirmed it by testing it on my cable connection at
home and dialup at work. The only time I see this behavior is when I go
through squid go this site. I have monitored the access.log file when this
particular behavior is demonstated. The only thing I see when it gets "hung
up" is a TCP_MISS/200 instead of the TCP_MISS/304 I get for all the other
links/jpegs/gifs. Can anyone shed light on this? Can anyone point me to a
resource on the different meaings of TCP_MISS/200 vs TCP_MISS/304?? Tx all.
