Invalid URL error

I get errors from squid if I send certain URLs which contain spaces, but
it will work if I manually replace those spaces with %20.

Here is one URL that doesn't work:
http://www.securityfocus.com/vdb/middle.html?vendor=Microsoft&title=Windows
NT&version=any

(There is a space between Windows and NT)

Strange behaviour, since some URLs work and some don't. Did I
misconfigure something?
