too many TCP_MISS's

Hello all,

I just installed and configured a squid server. It is standalone (no
siblings/parent).
It gets TCP_MISS (in cache.log) for 'all' requests and dies not cache
anything at all. What could I be missing?
I created a perl script that returned a page with "Expire:" header set to
next month and "Last-modified:" set to today.. Still I can't get Squid to
cache anything.

Any tips?? Where should I look?
