How to set a parent proxy for SOME site?

Through squid I can visit most Websites directly.But I can't visit some site
directly.Only through a parent proxy can I visit them.
In squid.conf I use the following:
cache_peer parent.proxy.net parent 80 7 no_query
cache_peer_domain parent.proxy.net .somedomain.net
The parent proxy is OK!
Every time I try to access ".somedomain.net", I get nothing.
why?
