HTTP/1.0 AND 1.1 problem in squid

Hi,

        I have many people complaining that since I have Squid on, they cannot
use the web site.

        Many of them use AOL, and after regarding behaviour of squid, I have
this:

GET / HTTP/1.0

Content-Type: text/html
Age: 35842
X-Cache: HIT from career.perl-france.com
Connection: close

so it seems to me that Squid answers in HTTP/1.1 mannet to a 1.0
request.

Can someone help me ?
