IPCHAINS & SQUID.??

I have recently set an fire wall mad in IPCHAINS, Its an inhouse firewall, but there is an strange thing happen to me.

The System On which i have implemented this is also a Gateway for All the users and running squid-2.3.ST1

but after ipchains my squid did not started and stuck just here,,

My IPCHAINS are REJECTING 1023:65535 ports and all the other ports are open ..

Any Help will be appriciated..
