Pop Authentication

Hi all,

        I am trying to get squid to authenticate using pop. The passowrd
file is on another machine, and we are not going to copy it, or have new
user passwords.. Has anyone done this? or could some point in the right
direction on how to do this. or does anyone have a pop_auth module that I
can use.
