Hi all.
I've installed Squid on a test pc Linux Red Hat 6.0 before installing
 permanetly on the real server.
The topic is: I have a server connected to a CDN line and I would like
that the connection could be used by all the windows client connected
to the server (like wingate) the caching is not my primary purpose,
my goal is to permit the client to use the cdn (and the caching but..)
 could Squid do that ?

I've read the faq but i didn't find nothing referred to my goal.

Second: i run a temporanery ppp connection trought a modem and
i would like to be accessible to the clients, if i run
 /usr/local/squid/bin/squid -NCd1 i get:

2000/03/07 17:56:45| Starting Squid Cache version 2.2.STABLE5 for
 i686-pc-linux-gnu...
 2000/03/07 17:56:45| Process ID 20696
 2000/03/07 17:56:45| With 1024 file descriptors available
 2000/03/07 17:56:45| Performing DNS Tests...

and he wait here.... i have set properly the /etc/resolv.conf (as
mentioned in the faq) but it doesn't work, what can i do?

     Thanks
