Squid can't handle Java URLs?

Hello,

I have a site that had problems with getting to any of the links via
Squid. After typing the continuing link manually, it started working
for the rest. Can anyone verify this if they are having difficulty
with the site? I can't understand why it would fail (i have seen
href="./info/info.html". Is the ./ and ../ W3C compliant?
