FW: Outstanding requests queue

I need this info from within squid i.e not externally
but as a routine I can call from within squid.

Is there some mechanism in squid to
determine what is the number of outstanding
requests i.e. the number of clients who are waiting to
be serviced by squid including those who have been
accepted but are still waiting for a res
