i think that the problems is the port that mrtg are trying to use, the
rigth port should be 3401, so the mrtg configuration file for the squid
should be like this:
Target[cacheServerErrors]:
cacheServerErrors&cacheServerErrors:public@prox.sld.cu:3401
of course, with the correct variable.
