trnsparent proxy

Hi All,

We are planing on using transparent proxy, however, after reading the
documentation, we still want some clarifications. The problem is that,
transparent proxy can't be made possible if I try to use two or more
proxy servers on the same subnet.

>From the documentation, it says that I can configure the router to pass
all port 80 packets untouched to a subnet that I specify, on which I have
a transparent proxy server that sucks these packets and serve the requests.
As the transparent proxy server os must be configured to suck up packets not
addressed to itself, this means that if I place another tansparent proxy server
in the same subnet, it is not going to work.

What I want to ask is that, in the current state of art, how can I put
several proxy servers to achieve load balancing if transparent proxy is to
be used? Maybe I have some misunderstanding on the documentation. Our goal
is to make proxy transparent to users, as well as achieve some sort of
load sharing. Appreciate any suggestions!
