So *.log files should be in /var/log/squid. how is your squid.conf for log
files?

cache_access_log /usr/local/squid/logs/access.log or
cache_access_log /var/log/squid/access.log

Yes, mandrake instaler did it for me.

There is no file in dir /var/log/squid

Is there any another idea?!
