The warning is from the "squid" users login scripts. See "man mesg" for
a description on what mesg is. You probably do not want to use a "login
su" when starting daemons, so try using the same line but without the -,
i.e. "su squid -c /usr/local/squid/bin/squid -k". Btw, what is the -k
option to su? Never seen it before..
