Complementing Russel's e-mail, is that you have to tell ipchais in your box to
redirect all www requests(port 80) to squids port (port 3128 by default - you may
change this in squid.conf )
If you are having dificulties to configure ipchains, try to dowload from
linuxberg (tucows or whatever) GFCC - stands for GTK Firewall Control Center -
witch is a great help to configure firewall, and have some example configurations
on redirection and masquerade.
