Hi Sharon,

To create the /cache directory, you have to run the command squid -z after
your squid installation.

i'm new to squid, pls help me:

i haved installed squid-2.3.STABLE2 on solaris 2.7
i understand that i'm supposed to see these directories upon installation :

/usr/local/squid
          /bin
          /cache
          /etc
          /logs
          /src

however, /cache did not appear.
why is this so?
