HTTP DELETE with Squid

Hello

I'm still confused about Squid.

I try to delete a file from my remote web server with the HTTP command
DELETE.
It doesn't work at all.

The Squid log files are telling me something about
"unsupported-request-method" - why?

*******************************
access.log:

200.55.55.61 - - [19/May/2000:08:35:24 +0200] "NONE
error:unsupported-request-method HTTP/0.0" 400 1221 NONE:NONE

store.log:

958718124.074 RELEASE FFFFFFFF 400 -1 -1 -1
unknown -1/1159 NONE error:unsupported-request-method

*******************************

Without the proxy it is no problem to delete the file.
I make a acl aclname method DELETE / http_access allow aclname in the
Squid.conf - nothing changes - I can't delete a file

Thanks in advance

Martin
