Hello,

I have the same problem with the 3Com 905B and the EEPro 10/100.
However, since installing 2.2.15, (the EEPro driver is v1.09j-t, the
newest I ever saw was v1.10-???) when the situation arises where the tx
and rx buffers get confused on the card, I lose my network for about 2
minutes and then I get "eth0: restart the receiver after a possible
hang." and the network comes back on. In the meantime, my WCCP takes
care of forwarding traffic direct to the net =). Beautiful feature is
the WCCP!

This happens about once per week using the EEPro, I scrapped the 3c905
when this thread came up a while back and the 3C was blamed as the
source. Unfortunately, I think it is at a lower level than just the NIC
driver.
