I've been using the 0.90 RAID stuff for at least 9 months on a
few production boxes on 2.2 (2.2.13pre12, and 2.2.12 I believe).

I believe is a newer patch that Ingo mentioned a few weeks ago
on linux-kernel; perhaps http://www.redhat.com/~mingo.

(a quick check shows 0.90 patches for 2.2.14, 2.2.15, 2.2.16,
2.3.47, 2.3.99, and 2.4.0). I believe the 2.2 patches use the
990824 raidtools.

Version 0.90 won't work on the 2.2.x kernels. Use the 0.50beta version,
works great.

For 0.50 patching is not needed.
