Help me please..

The problem is:
The services like ftp and sendmail is waiting for a child process, if
the file has 30k or more it was waiting for long time, i dont now how to
fix this problem.

When i make a ftp or mail to another machine there is no problem the
problem is when the client is trying to use this services of my server.

Please Someone can help me...!
