one thing to remember, squid must have read/write permissions in the dir,
it is easiest if you creat the dir then chown to the userid that squid
runs as... in my case,
chown nobody:nogroup and do the same for your log files dir. . . otherwise
squid cannot write to the dir, its cought me a few times :-)
