LAN connections

Hi,

I have connected 2 internal LANS to the same Hub and from there 2
network
lines is connected out to 2 corresponding squid proxy servers. These
squid
proxy servers are set to connect to 2 corresponding PARENT proxy
servers and then out to the Internet.

My questions are:
1) Can the 2 LANS connected to the same Hub function normally when
accessing
     to the Internet independently through their corresponding routes
above ?

2) Can the 2 lower squid proxy servers be set to act as sibling partners
?

3) Can a Squid Server with a hardware config. of CPU Pent 133, RAM 64MB,

    SCSI Harddisk 2GB serve 50 clients ?
