I've just upgraded to 2.3.STABLE4 and am seeing messages of the form:

giving up after 20 tries and 51.9 seconds
2000/07/20 14:17:04| idnsCheckQueue: ID 1a79:
giving up after 20 tries and 52.9 seconds
2000/07/20 14:17:44| idnsCheckQueue: ID 1a95:
giving up after 20 tries and 53.1 seconds
2000/07/20 14:44:30| idnsCheckQueue: ID 2631:
giving up after 20 tries and 53.9 seconds
in my cache.log file. I've left all of the DNS-related configuration lines
in squid.conf at their default values. The OS is BSD/OS 4.0.1. Any ideas?
