discarding my provider's redirect

Hello,

Sometimes I use a dial-up connection to a provider which redirects
me to his main page when I open the first web page. Is it possbile
to discard this page?

Example:
  - I start my dial-up connection
  - I open a page, say http://fred.org/ in my web-browser
  - and I'm redirected to http://my_providers_ads.com/

What I'd like squid to do is to discard this redirect and immediately
open the page I've initially requested. Is this possible, and how ?
