squid 2.3.STABLE4 -> No icons

Hello!

I've installed squid 2.3.STABLE4 on my machine. When I use Netscape to
browse an FTP directory, the icons for the files which squid "generates"
cannot be loaded. Instead I see broken images.

In squid.conf I added

 icon_directory /usr/lib/squid/icons

and started squid with squid -NCd1. In the startup messages it says "Loaded
Icons", but somehow the browser does not display them.

When I have a look at the debug output, it says:

  GET /squid-internal-static/icons/anthony-dir.gif HTTP/1.0

What's wrong?
