[SQU] Invalid URL

Hi, I'm using squid 2.3 nontransparently and it was doing so good.
untill I found the following URL:
http://saleh_ashrafi.homestead.com
While the underscore is not allowed in URLs but this one has an
underscore and my users can not access the site. They get 'Invalid URL'
error on their browsers. Can anybody help me on this?
