Hi guys.. hope you can help me out..

I installed Squid 2.2 Stable 5, transparent proxy on my FreeBSD 4.1 box and
its running quite fine so far.. But, i have 2 problems..

        1. I can't access some secure sites... Not all.. For example, im on a site
which has a link to a secure html with a user/pass prompt... When i try to
go into that link, it times out and i don't get any response.. If i remove
the IP Policy string on my router and go directly to the site i can go in
just fine..

        2. Its there a way to manually make Squid to refresh its database? i've had
complaints that webmasters make updates to their pages and they can't see
their updates until they change filenames... no idea why...

help anyone?

Thanks..
