[SQU] HELP REQUEST

Hi, I am new to SQUID (version 2.3) and have a slight problem.....

When an IE5 browser requests an address of say http://193.130.99.9/registered it eventually times out. My cache.log file then contains the following errors:-

2000/09/07 09:20:05| idnsCheckQueue: ID ab: giving up after 20 tries and 1186752.7 seconds

If the same browser uses say www.something.com everything works OK.

What do I have to set up for our users to allow them to use IP addresses on their browsers?
