HTTP is transported via TCP. Squid listens by default on TCP Port 3128 for
HTTP messages.

Refer to netstat(1m) or netstat(8) on how to detect the list of open ports
for your operating system. Most Unices (except Linux) will show a list of
all (semi-) active TCP *and* UDP ports with "netstat -anf inet".
