Henriks recommendation was based on a partially substituted formula with
L2=256, solved for capacity. There is no need to "extrapolate" L2. BTW,
there are 416 MB per L1 cachedir assuming L2=256. Or, in other word, 0.5GB
per cachedir. Some OS are known to have a more optimal handling of L2=254.
