[SQU] VPN Woes

Hello All,

I've been trying to diagnose a problem with my internet connection and
have somehow found my way to the Squid site. Here's my problem:

I can use my Nortel VPN client at another ISP that doesn't use Squid. This
works without a problem.

My current ISP uses Squid and I just want to verify that it does/does not
pose a problem for IPSec/IKE protocols.

I think IPSec/Ike use UDP port 500. Is this turned off by default?

Is it possible that Squid is hindering my ability to connect?
