Try upping the debug levels a bit - in doc/debug_sections.txt there is a
list of debug categories. Choose ones to do with the store,
keeping/releasing objects. Then have a quick look at the source (probably
start with ftp.c) and you should see what level you need. I'd suggest 3 or 4
to start with.
