[SQU] Problems compiling the squid-ntlm source code

Hi,
to experiment with ntlm authentication I downloaded the Squid-2.4.DEVEL4 source from cvs.
I autoconf'ed and autoheader'd and then

./configure
make
(....)
make[2]: Entering directory `/usr/local/src/squid-latest/src'
gcc -g -O2 -Wall -I. -I../include -I../include -c acl.c -o acl.o
acl.c: In function `aclMatchProxyAuth':
acl.c:1466: warning: unreachable code at beginning of switch statement

acl.c:1613: `first' undeclared (first use in this function)
etc etc

I am not sure what is going on. I cannot see any error in the line mentioned (or before).
Any special requirements that I am missing ?

Any hint welcome.
