Re: [SQU] HELP: cache_dir size ignored??

Hi,

I have the same questions for 2.3.ST1. The last month, my squid collapsed
because of the same cause. After my research, i have found two way to solve
this problem.
1- Replace replacement policy LRU to LFUDA or
2- Create a little cache_dir to restart squid and then set to 6 (or less)
months to referance_age.

So i have decided to implement the second way. But i dont know did the
problems finish?

Info: cache_dir was set to 1800Mb into the squid.conf
cache_dir slice has 2000MB on the disk.
refresh_pattern: default
referance_age: default (1 year)

I suppose, i will have to change replacement policy after little time
(reconfigure squid according to approtiate options-make-make install). What
do you think about the following questions and my these solutions?

Best regards,
Ilker G.
