I use this system:
- ACLs are not in squid.conf, but are included as files (acl aclname acltype
"somefile")
- once once in a while, I get a new ACL list, and save that to a temp file
- if it hasn't changed since the current one, just drop the new one
- if it has changed, overwrite the old one and squid -k reconfigure.
