Thanks a lot for the help, but my problem still remains there. How do I
change or remove this default signature appended to the error pages.

If %s isn't mentioned in the error page then Squid automatically appends
%S to the error pages which expands to the default signature.

(%s == Squid name and version, %S == default signature)
