[SQU] Unexpected use of parameter

In the squid.conf for 2.3stable4, the following parameter is described:

# TAG: visible_hostname
# If you want to present a special hostname in error messages, etc,
# then define this.
# ...

I wanted precisely this behaviour so I set the parameter.
Unfortunately, I found that 'visible_hostname' is also substituted as the
host name for the location of
the icons on the HTML pages generated for the ftp protocol. That is, if
I've set 'visible_hostname' to
'Squidley.es.dupont.com', the HTML will contain:

<IMG BORDER=0
SRC="http://Squidley.es.dupont.com:3128/squid-internal-static/icons/anthony
-dir.gif" ...>

Since there is no such host as Squidley, the icons aren't found.

Is this the intended behaviour?
