Dear Mr. Duane Wessels

I solve the charade. The answer is on FAQ 12.35.
Squid thinks the file size somatory is much less than it really is because
it does not take into account my filesystem block size is 4096 bytes "then some
*wasted* space is not accounted. In my case it became clear because I use
a small (1Gb) partition just for cache. Those who use it as a subdirectory will
just not see this.

For those who have this same problem 'client mgr:storedir' may give you a clue
thas it is happening.

Look:

Current Store Swap Size: 645055 KB
Filesystem Space in use: 827596/1011928 KB (82%)

The difference is 827596 - 645055 = 182541 KB "undercounted" !!

Since "Store Entries : 85940" it yelds 2.12KB wasted per file (avg).

Hope this helps.
