[SQU] Cache on a disk is not updated

Hello,

I'm running Squid2 on Linux Mandrake and experiencing the following problem.
After starting Squid replies to browsers requests but nothing is saved in
the cache on a disk.
The structure of files and folders for the cache was created with "squid -z"
but has not been changed during last two days at all.

Could you advise me on what should be edited in squid.conf to fix this
situation, please.
