Hi Matt

How much space does the system report when you do a "du -s -m" in the squid
cache dir?

Onderwerp: [SQU] HELP: cache too big!

Hi All,

I am running squid 2stable5 on AIX 4.3.3 and am having a problem with my
cache size...Squid crashed last week when the cache filesystem got
full....So I changed my cache_dir size to 400 MB as seen in the line from
squid.conf here:
cache_dir ufs /cache 400 16 256

A look at my filesystem size for /cache is that is has used 62% of a 1GB
filesystem..
Filesystem 1024-blocks Free %Used Iused %Iused Mounted on
/dev/lv03 1146880 445968 62% 66404 24% /cache

This means that Squid has used 62%, or approx. 716MB when I limited this to
400MB..

So what's going on?

Thanks

Matt
