That defenitely sounds like a lot more than URL rewriting.

Squid is capable of URL rewriting by using a plugin sheme where custom
programs are sent the requested URL's and returns the URL's squid should
retreive, but this does not give any access to the request headers, or
the ability to add headers.

Doing what you want should not be terribly hard with some modest amount
of Squid coding...
