[SQU] memory (possibly stupid question)

I have noticed that squid will indeed use serious ram.

I am running this on solaris 8 sparc with 128MB ram.

Here is what I noticed:

a user likes to listen to Great American Country via streaming audio under
windows media player....

This appears to cause squid to use MORE AND MORE ram...

after starting squid (about 7-8MB ram) and running the streaming audio for
about 30mins here is what I noticed:

PID USERNAME THR PRI NICE SIZE RES STATE TIME CPU COMMAND
  1269 root 1 58 0 21M 20M sleep 0:25 0.73% squid

I am looking for a way to lessen this hit on RAM.

Perhaps somehow bypassing squid for this one specific site??

Any comments will be appreciated.....
